Above this a historic glimpse of Banff's Winter Carnival Parade Circa 1930's, on the corner of Banff Avenue and Caribou Street. Brewster's Mountain Lodge is built on family property shown in this photo directly behind the Dominion Cafe. In 1947 Bill 'Boss' Brewster build the Brewster Industries building which remains part of the Lodge that opened in 1996. The Joshua Indian head bust, by artist Charlie Beil that is found on the front of the Caribou street entrance was part of the original building.
